Description
Kami is hiring a full-time Software Engineer for its Auckland office, with a hybrid schedule of office work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying features; maintaining frontend and backend systems; debugging and improving reliability; incorporating user feedback; improving engineering processes; and mentoring other engineers. Candidates need at least six years of software engineering experience, proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go, experience with web technologies and cloud infrastructure, familiarity with scalable backend systems and APIs, and strong debugging and code-quality skills.
