Description
KoBold is hiring a Software Engineer for its Data Systems Engineering team to build production cloud data systems that make mineral exploration data accessible to humans and machines. The role involves collaborating with geologists and data scientists, developing data pipelines and tooling, owning projects from design through testing and ongoing support, and operating team services. The position requires at least two years of software engineering experience, Python proficiency, production-quality coding, large-scale system design, and ownership of iterative projects. It is an indefinite contract based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with employees expected to travel to project sites at least once per year.
