Lava is hiring a Software Engineer for its New York City office to ship features and fix bugs across its AI and developer-productivity platforms, including the Gateway and monetization systems. The role involves writing tests, improving reliability, learning the codebase with founding engineers, and taking increasing independent ownership. Candidates should have 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent depth, be comfortable with TypeScript and Node.js, understand API design, data modeling, and testing, and be hands-on with AI tools and LLM APIs.
