Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a full-time Software Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama, to develop and support the Ground component of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) software within the Fire Control and Communications Engagement Operations Team. The role covers requirements analysis, object-oriented design, coding, unit and integration testing, debugging, documentation, and coordination with other Ground Systems groups. Candidates should have software development experience in C, C++, Java, Ada, or Rust, knowledge of software development practices, Agile team experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance or higher; Linux, Git, Jira, DevOps, THAAD Fire Control software, missile programs, and Security+ are desired. The position offers a salary range of $81,100 to $150,500 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
