Description
Maxima is hiring a Software Engineer to build and improve core parts of its agentic AI accounting platform, with a primary focus on either backend or frontend development. The role involves handling high-volume financial data, accounting workflows, user experiences, and end-to-end feature delivery with engineers, product managers, and customers. Candidates should have at least two years of product-building experience at high-growth companies, familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems, and experience with TypeScript, React, Redux, or similar frameworks. The role is based in the San Mateo office and requires in-person collaboration four to five days per week.
