McMaster-Carr is hiring a Software Engineer for a program open to December 2026 through Summer 2027 graduates from all majors. The role focuses on building and improving customer-facing and operational systems, including website features, AI applications, fulfillment automation, dashboards, and data-tracking tools. The engineer will develop technical fundamentals, collaborate across engineering, operations, and business teams, and gradually take ownership of problem definition and solution execution. Starting base pay is $133,000, with total cash compensation generally around $165,000 to $180,000, plus profit sharing, a signing bonus, and a relocation stipend.
