Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for its Frontier Company Engineering team in a Forward Deployed Engineering model. The role builds and ships production software and services, applies security, privacy, and responsible AI practices, partners with customer stakeholders, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and operates systems through on-call and incident response. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, at least two years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, customer-facing solution experience, and fluency in Japanese and English. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, five or more years of experience, AI or LLM solution experience, and travel up to 25%.
