Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for its Specialized Cloud (MSC) team to manage and automate a large-scale Commerce platform, provide analytics on customer consumption and billing, and support provisioning and transactions through the Azure Marketplace. The role focuses on scalable service design, telemetry-driven automation, distributed-system monitoring, root-cause analysis, security and compliance, and collaboration with engineering and internal customers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with coding experience, or equivalent experience, plus an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI access and U.S. citizenship verification. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 85,400–168,100 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
