Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for the Substrate Unified Fabric team to design and implement features in RouteResolutionService, a core cloud-routing platform for Microsoft 365 workloads. The role involves building distributed, highly available, and resilient systems at massive scale, contributing to architecture and code reviews, mentoring engineers, and developing Agentic-loop capabilities. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience may also qualify. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, additional years of experience, service-development experience, distributed-systems knowledge, Rust proficiency, and strong collaboration skills.
