Description
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer to design, implement, test, deploy, and operate highly available distributed services and automation for large-scale telemetry workloads across Azure Monitor. The role involves building APIs and tools for telemetry collection, routing, storage, and data access; integrating machine learning-based anomaly detection and data validation; improving reliability, security, monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics; collaborating on observability solutions; and evolving AI-assisted and AI-agentic infrastructure operations. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with proven coding experience, or equivalent experience, along with the ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
