This temporary position involves leading the development of misinformation mitigation systems within the Complex Data Lab at Mila. The role focuses on designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling backend systems powered by AI to enhance information verification. Responsibilities include managing GCP, PostgreSQL, and database infrastructure, supporting frontend improvements, and advising students on best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in large-scale software development, particularly with web frameworks, LLMOps, and Python.
