NCMEC is hiring a remote Software Engineer for its Technology Division. The role involves designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and performant software solutions for child-exploitation detection and prevention, including real-time media processing, graph analysis, big-data systems, distributed systems, microservices, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures. The engineer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with industry leaders and law enforcement, support production issues, and mentor junior engineers in an Agile environment. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years of full-stack Java development with Spring Boot, and experience building highly available, scalable, cloud-ready applications.
