Optiver is hiring a Software Engineer for its newly established AI Lab Shanghai. The role focuses on setting architectural direction, delivering large-scale well-engineered code, and owning projects that impact trading systems. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying services for a globally distributed trading platform, building automated trading stacks that run machine learning models on high-performance servers, and improving trading systems and strategies. The position requires at least five years of software engineering experience, large-scale server-side development, high-throughput and low-latency system optimization, architectural recommendation experience, and strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
