Description
Opto is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain its private-markets investment platform. The role owns software projects end to end, from specification and implementation through code review, QA, deployment, and operations, using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python FastAPI REST services, AWS Lambda, and containerized AWS infrastructure. Candidates need a 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of hands-on software development experience, strong frontend architecture and performance knowledge, experience building design systems and reusable component libraries, and strong testing practices. The position is primarily onsite in San Francisco or New York City, offers a $160,000-$240,000 annual cash salary plus equity and benefits, and does not provide visa sponsorship.
