Description
PlanetScale is hiring a Software Engineer to support enterprise customers on its PlanetScale database platform, including handling support requests, becoming a customer-facing subject-matter expert, identifying product gaps, and participating in an on-call rotation. The role requires production database and application support experience, database internals and performance tuning expertise for PostgreSQL and MySQL, Kubernetes knowledge, strong customer communication skills, and the ability to debug unfamiliar code. The position offers a base salary of US $120,000 to $200,000 plus variable compensation, benefits, and equity.
