Proton is hiring a Browser Engineer to join its browser product team and help build a privacy-first desktop browser. The role involves developing and maintaining Chromium-based browser functionality, implementing privacy and security hardening, shipping security updates, and collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams. Candidates should have hands-on Chromium browser experience, proficiency in C++, familiarity with Chromium’s build system and cross-platform builds, and knowledge of web platform standards and browser security.
