Description
Red Hat is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for reference-architecture enhancements and new products. The role analyzes reference architectures, creates development plans, generates and analyzes test output, develops testing and validation procedures, coordinates continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and defines hardware updates for reference architectures. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer networking, or a related field, three years of experience in the offered or related role, two years of Python programming experience, and one year of experience with containers, virtualization, cloud computing, distributed systems, software testing, CI pipelines, Linux administration, and shell scripting. Telecommuting is permitted within commuting distance of the Raleigh, North Carolina office, and the salary range is $122,000 to $134,200 per year.
