Rover is hiring an entry-level Software Engineer for its Recommendations team to build and launch backend and frontend marketplace features that match pet parents with care providers. The role partners with senior engineers, data scientists, analysts, and designers; supports Elasticsearch and search personalization; and contributes to AI-assisted workflows. It is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the Downtown Seattle office, with candidates based in the Greater Seattle Area and authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. The first-year salary range is $99,719-$128,513, with medical, dental, and vision insurance.
