Description
Swiss Re is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop and maintain in-house insurance products using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. The role sits on a product team that values engineering excellence, code quality, architecture contribution, and close collaboration with requirements engineers, QA specialists, and other engineers. The position requires public cloud experience, especially Microsoft Azure, integration technologies such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka, and experience with Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and relational or document databases. Insurance/reinsurance knowledge is beneficial, and strong communication skills in English are expected.
