Together AI is seeking a Software Engineer to develop systems that treat infrastructure as software. This role involves creating software state machines to automate hardware provisioning, management, and lifecycle operations, transforming GPU racks into running inference clusters. The engineer will design and implement engines for manifest-driven schemas, execution engines, and workflows, focusing on continuous reconciliation of desired versus actual states. Responsibilities include building provisioning state machines, developing self-service APIs, automating self-healing processes, ensuring pipeline reliability, partnering with ML/platform teams, and adhering to strong software development practices.
