Description
Wabtec is hiring a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and validate Trip Optimizer® software for energy management and train operation. The role works with design, systems, and validation engineers; develops new functionality and existing features; participates in software architecture, design, code reviews, and the full software development lifecycle; creates automated unit tests; performs root-cause analysis; and remediates cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, software design and architecture knowledge, and at least seven years of C/C++ software development experience. The stated base pay range is $91,100–$129,800, with relocation assistance potentially available.
