Description
Open Intelligence is hiring a backend software engineer to design, build, and maintain production services, APIs, orchestration and gateway components, and integrations for privacy-preserving data products and activation systems. The role involves API authentication, retries, idempotency, rate limiting, error handling, testing, CI/CD, observability, incident response, and operational ownership. Candidates need at least three years of backend, platform, or API-focused software engineering experience, proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin, and experience with cloud platforms, containers, and asynchronous systems. The position is hybrid, with teams in the office around four days per week.
