Description
Saildrone is hiring a Software Engineer, Autonomous Systems to develop and deploy production autonomy software in C++ for autonomous unmanned surface vehicles. The role covers perception, localization, planning, navigation, decision-making, and vehicle behavior; algorithm integration; simulation, testing, telemetry, and real-world field validation; and the evolution of the autonomy stack. Candidates need strong C++ and robotics experience, expertise in at least one autonomy area, and experience developing software that runs on real hardware. The base salary is $144,500–$322,742 USD, with medical, dental, vision, equity, retirement, paid time off, and professional development benefits.
