AWS is hiring a Software Engineer to apply generative AI to accelerate adoption of AWS Neuron, the software stack supporting Trainium and Inferentia machine-learning silicon. The role involves researching customer experiences, improving workload porting and optimization, solving challenging software problems, designing and maintaining highly available products, and collaborating with compiler, hardware, and machine-learning engineering teams. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, programming experience, and experience in areas such as ML compilers, production coding agents, GenAI model architecture, model training, neural network optimization, or applied mathematics. The position is based in New York City and offers a base salary of 158,100 to 213,800 USD annually.
