Waymo is hiring a full-time software engineer with a strong backend and frontend engineering background. The role requires at least six years of backend technology experience, six years of frontend experience, five years of people management experience, leadership or team-lead skills, and experience with the product development lifecycle. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Google infrastructure or GCP equivalents, C++ or other backend programming, frontend frameworks, and scalability and system performance experience. The position offers a base salary of $251,000 to $319,000 USD across United States locations, along with discretionary annual bonus, equity, and company benefits.
