ExTrac is hiring a Software Engineer to build and operate backend microservices, APIs, databases, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for its decision-intelligence platform. The role owns features and components end to end across Go and Python, focuses on production reliability, latency, cost, scalability, observability, and security, and collaborates with analysts, product, AI, and frontend teams. Applicants need at least two years of professional software engineering experience, production-backend experience, and proficiency with Go or Python; the role is based in central London with flexible working allowing up to three days per week remotely.
