Grab is hiring a Backend Engineer for its Sentry platform team to build and operate scalable, zero-downtime network traffic routing and analytics solutions for its public edge. The role involves designing microservices and distributed systems, developing back-end services, debugging production software, and deploying code across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least two years of backend experience in Go, Scala, Java, or C++, and knowledge of databases, APIs, message queuing, TCP/IP, HTTP, version control, testing, CI/CD, and cloud environments. The position is based in Vietnam and is hybrid.
