Grab is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend systems and applications for its Merchant Growth Platform in Malaysia. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, technical documentation, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex backend issues. Candidates need at least one year of backend software development experience with Golang, Java, or Python, along with familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, orchestration, databases, Agile, and Git. The position is based onsite at Grab’s Petaling Jaya, Selangor office and reports to the Software Engineering Manager II.
