Mirage is hiring a Backend Engineer to design, build, and own backend systems, services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure for its AI video products. The role involves solving distributed-systems, scaling, concurrency, and performance challenges; integrating and operating large generative AI models in production; and improving system and product quality. It is intended for engineers operating at senior or staff+ scope, requires at least five years of professional industry experience, and is based in person at Mirage’s New York City headquarters.
