Plaid is hiring a Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend or full-stack systems and APIs that power its financial products. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers; writing clean, tested code; building automated tests; monitoring performance; troubleshooting production issues; and contributing to technical design and engineering best practices. Candidates should have 2–4 years of software engineering experience after internship, a proven ability to ship reliable systems or features at scale, strong problem-solving and ownership skills, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
