Swoop Technologies is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to develop services, features, SDKs, and Python packages for its SwoopOS platform. The role involves collaborating with firmware, frontend, infrastructure, and third-party teams; ensuring service availability and Kubernetes reliability; and optimizing streaming data storage. It requires a US security clearance, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent experience, at least three years of backend software development experience, Python proficiency, and production Kubernetes experience. The position is hybrid, based in Minneapolis/St. Paul or Washington, DC, with in-office work at least three days per week and 5–20% travel.
