Description
Karrot is hiring a full-time Software Engineer for its ML Data Platform team in the Feed Division. The role develops and operates recommendation-system infrastructure, including the recommendation engine, feature store, embedding generation platform, streaming data pipelines, data-quality monitoring, and LLM-based embedding and model-inference pipelines. The engineer will optimize performance and cost in high-traffic environments and collaborate with colleagues to solve engineering problems. The position requires at least two years of experience or equivalent capabilities, strong computer-science fundamentals, and experience with scalable backend systems or data pipelines; hands-on ML experience is not required, but interest in ML or recommendation systems is expected.
