Spread Group is hiring a Software Engineer Backend (f/m/d) for a fixed-term position covering parental leave. The role focuses on backend services for the Design Experience team, including extracting business logic from the Create-omat BFF, building a shared design-generation pipeline, consolidating duplicate Spring services, designing APIs for Scene, Template, and Design data, modernizing an existing Java service, and owning production observability and on-call-quality logging. The position requires several years of backend experience, JVM and Spring expertise, Node.js and TypeScript proficiency, REST API design, database and object-storage knowledge, container and CI experience, testing, and English communication skills.
