StackAdapt is hiring a Backend Engineer to build highly scalable, distributed real-time microservices primarily in Go. The role involves working with large datasets and databases such as Aerospike, Elasticsearch, Redis, ScyllaDB, Redshift, TiDB, and MariaDB; using messaging systems including Kafka, SQS, and Kinesis; and writing performance-efficient, memory-optimized, test-driven software. The engineer will contribute to technical planning, architecture, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration, with an internship mentorship asset. The position offers a base salary of $35–$55 CAD and is marked remote.
