Description
The Software Engineer – PET Data Acquisition will develop and maintain the real-time, distributed C++ data acquisition platform for GE HealthCare’s PET/CT imaging systems. Responsibilities include configuring detector hardware, capturing and processing high-rate UDP event streams, sorting and time-stamping coincidence events, managing acquisition state, exposing control and monitoring APIs, optimizing low-level performance-critical code, and collaborating with hardware, physics, and system teams. The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least four years of C++ development experience on Linux.
