FreeWheel is hiring a Software Engineer 3 for its Buyercloud Ad Serving team to design and build data- and model-driven marketing features, scale distributed applications and infrastructure, optimize algorithms and cloud costs, improve observability, and support service incidents. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, at least three years of software engineering experience, significant experience with compiled languages such as C++, Java, Rust, and Go, and experience with Linux, distributed systems, performance optimization, scaling, data modeling, and software architecture. The Virginia pay range is $120,212.52 to $180,318.78, and the position may require nights, weekends, and variable schedules.
