Saildrone is hiring a Software Engineer, Cloud to build and operate production cloud services that ingest, process, store, and expose sensor, detection, and operational data from autonomous unmanned surface vehicles. The role involves backend services and APIs in Python and TypeScript, database and data-model design, distributed-system integration, AWS deployment, monitoring, debugging, and reliability engineering. Candidates need strong software engineering, cloud, distributed-systems, database, API, and AWS experience, with real-time data, robotics, IoT, or sensor-processing experience preferred.
