Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Cloud Platform team in Poland. The role focuses on architecting and implementing scalable, reliable, and highly available systems; directing project lifecycles; translating business requirements into technical solutions; driving engineering initiatives; and mentoring engineers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of C++ or Go programming experience, distributed software systems design experience, and cloud relational database design experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, technical leadership experience, cross-functional matrix experience, API design experience, and full-stack engineering experience. The listed compensation is PLN 364,000–373,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
