Description
Zoox is hiring a Data Engineer to apply distributed computing algorithms to petabyte-scale urban driving data, develop error-analysis and system-improvement metrics, and collaborate with CAS, Perception, and Planning engineers on autonomous-driving performance evaluation. The role requires a computer science or related degree, fluency in C++ and/or Python, and extensive programming and algorithm-design experience; experience with latency analysis, petabyte-scale distributed computing, and Bayesian statistics is a bonus. Compensation includes base salary, Amazon RSUs, Zoox stock appreciation rights, and a possible sign-on bonus, with health insurance among the benefits.
