Layup Parts is hiring a Software Engineer to develop the geometric engine powering its manufacturing platform. The role focuses on analyzing and generating complex 3D geometry, evaluating manufacturability of composite parts and tooling, programming machining equipment, building engineering tools, and collaborating with manufacturing and software teams. Candidates should have experience with performance-oriented languages such as Rust, C++, or Go, computational geometry, CAD/CAM systems, mesh or solid modeling, and production-quality software systems.
