Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Content Safety organization in Core. The role develops and maintains on-device and server-side content safety applications, including validation gates, routing logic, tool-use schemas, and stateless and stateful agentic flows that orchestrate AI agents, APIs, databases, and external tools. The engineer will also support client commitments, collaborate with mentors and executive engineers, and contribute to Google’s development processes and system architectures. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, one year of software development experience, one year of data structures and algorithms experience, one year of core machine learning experience, and experience integrating generative AI tools or large language model interfaces.
