Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure to build and scale crawling, rendering, scraping, and web-discovery infrastructure supporting products such as Search, Gemini, Google Cloud, Ads, and Shopping. The role leads system modeling and design, infrastructure scaling and reliability, data targeting, and resource and performance optimization. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of C++ programming experience, and 5 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute, storage, or hardware architecture, along with experience in API design, Spanner, distributed processing, generative AI agents, and server or pod platforms.
