Description
Balance is hiring an engineer to build and improve its core credit and underwriting platform. The role focuses on delivering customer-facing features, underwriting automation, internal tools, configurable systems, and data-informed product capabilities. The engineer will work across the stack, primarily on backend systems, collaborate closely with Product, Risk, engineers, and business stakeholders, own features from problem definition through production rollout, and contribute to system simplification, automation, code reviews, design discussions, and technical direction.
