Description
Optiver is hiring an experienced Software Engineer for its Critical Engineering APAC team in Sydney. The role owns production-grade C++ services supporting real-time, low-latency, high-throughput trading infrastructure, including risk controls, reference data, trade-lifecycle systems, and trading-integrity systems. Responsibilities span architecture, delivery, deployment, production support, testing, observability, continuous improvement, and mentoring. Candidates need strong C++ or Java/C# skills, computer-science fundamentals, Linux/Unix proficiency, scripting familiarity, and at least three years of experience building and operating production software systems.
