Description
Alpaca is hiring a Software Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain systems supporting its crypto exchange and market-making infrastructure. The role includes developing crypto wallet, funding, and tokenization services, backend services and web applications, maintaining software quality and test coverage, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting incidents, and potentially supporting timely engineering projects on-call. Candidates must have trading-systems experience, crypto-building experience, a BSc/MSc or equivalent in computer science or a related field, at least four years of backend software development experience, experience with Go or C/C++, messaging queues, SQL, Bash, Linux, and Docker; Kubernetes, cloud, CI/CD, and microservice experience are advantageous.
