Superhuman is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to architect and lead large-scale data governance systems across its AI productivity platform. The role owns data privacy, security, regulatory compliance, metadata and lineage management, and scalable data architectures, while partnering with Privacy, Legal, Security, and Trust Engineering teams. It also involves strategic platform decisions, technical roadmaps, and mentoring engineers. The position is hybrid, with Seattle or San Francisco as preferred locations, and requires 8+ years of large-scale distributed computing experience, 5+ years in live production environments, and hands-on Spark and modern lakehouse or cloud data warehouse experience.
