Description
Lucid is hiring a Software Engineer to build and operate the data platform supporting autonomous vehicle development. The role involves designing backend services and data pipelines that ingest, process, store, and serve large-scale camera, LiDAR, and vehicle telemetry data; developing scalable Python and AWS systems; building APIs and data services; improving reliability and observability; and supporting production operations, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cost optimization. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least three years of professional software engineering experience, strong Python and distributed systems experience, AWS and Kubernetes deployment experience, workflow orchestrator experience, data pipeline experience, and past experience in autonomous driving or automotive backend and cloud development.
