Description
Metamorphic is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain the data platform supporting its research and machine-learning model-development work. The role covers database design and administration, ETL/ELT pipelines, ingestion services, data modeling, schema evolution, observability, and performance optimization across SQL and NoSQL systems. The engineer will collaborate with researchers, machine-learning engineers, and infrastructure teams to produce robust, scalable, and maintainable scientific data systems. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, strong Python and database skills, and production data-platform experience; compensation is $160,000–$240,000 USD plus equity and benefits, with visa sponsorship available.
