Description
Rebar is hiring a Software Engineer to own its data platform and analytics for its AI operating system serving commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing projects. The role focuses on designing real-time data ingestion, consolidating and cleansing data architectures, creating schemas and pipelines for dense construction plansets, supporting agentic layers, and enabling other engineers to query data efficiently. It requires at least five years of industry software engineering experience, production data-intensive systems experience, database and indexing knowledge, and experience justifying data architecture tradeoffs. The position is onsite in New York City's Flatiron district and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage plus equity.
