Description
Continental is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to build and operate production-grade data platform components, including secure and fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines, APIs, metadata-driven interfaces, CDC and event-based patterns, data quality monitoring, and data catalog services. The role requires a degree in computer science or a related field, 5–8 years of software development experience, and hands-on experience with Python, Scala, Java, advanced SQL, Git, CI/CD, and data exchange interfaces. Azure or hyperscaler experience is required, while Databricks and Azure knowledge are advantageous. The position is part of a global data engineering team and offers flexible working models.
